Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. By using Kwiro, you agree not to do any of the following — and to make reasonable efforts to ensure your team and end shoppers don’t either.
1. Illegal content and activity
- Sell, promote, or recommend products that are illegal in the shopper’s jurisdiction.
- Use Kwiro to facilitate fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or tax evasion.
- Distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terrorism content, or content inciting violence. We report CSAM to NCMEC and the relevant authorities.
- Process personal data of EU/UK/Swiss residents without a lawful basis under GDPR.
- Use Kwiro in a way that violates export controls, OFAC sanctions, or other trade restrictions.
2. Service abuse
- Don’t bypass plan caps, rate limits, the IP conversation cap, or any usage control. If your store needs higher limits, email [email protected].
- Don’t use multiple free accounts to avoid paying for the volume your store actually generates.
- Don’t attempt to access another customer’s data, conversations, or admin functions.
- Don’t attempt to bypass payment via stolen cards, chargeback abuse, or social engineering of our support team.
- Don’t resell Kwiro’s API or dashboard access to third parties without an explicit reseller agreement.
3. AI / model abuse
- Don’t attempt to extract our system prompt, fine-tuning data, embeddings, or proprietary configuration.
- Don’t use Kwiro’s AI output to train, fine-tune, or distil a competing model.
- Don’t use prompt injection, jailbreaks, or other techniques to make the AI generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
- Don’t use the AI to impersonate a human in jurisdictions that require AI disclosure (e.g., California Bot Disclosure Law, EU AI Act). The widget includes an “AI assistant” identity by default — don’t hide it.
4. Spam and unsolicited messaging
- Don’t use Kwiro to send unsolicited bulk messages, scrape contact information, or run growth-hacking schemes targeting other Kwiro stores.
- Don’t set up a Kwiro widget on a site whose primary purpose is to harvest visitor data for resale.
- Don’t send emails through our transactional email system that you would label “marketing” under any reasonable definition.
5. Security and infrastructure
- Don’t probe for vulnerabilities outside our responsible disclosure program. Coordinated security research is welcome — uncoordinated penetration testing is not.
- Don’t flood our infrastructure (deliberate DDoS, traffic amplification, scripted floods).
- Don’t upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code as product data, conversation content, or file attachments.
- Don’t use Kwiro endpoints from automated tooling at a rate that exceeds reasonable human-shopper behaviour, except for our own test infrastructure.
6. Intellectual property
- Don’t copy, scrape, or republish our content, prompts, or test scenarios as your own.
- Don’t use the “Kwiro” trademark, logo, or marketing claims in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation we haven’t agreed to.
- Don’t upload product data, images, or descriptions you don’t have the rights to use.
7. Regulated content
Kwiro is not specifically tested for regulated verticals (medical claims, supplements with health claims, alcohol with age-gating, prescription products, financial advice, gambling, firearms). If you sell in one of these:
- Configure Forbidden Topics in your dashboard to restrict the AI from discussing protected topics.
- Add product disclaimers to your product descriptions — the AI will surface them.
- You’re responsible for compliance with your industry’s rules. We’re a sales tool, not a compliance product.
8. Reporting violations
If you see a Kwiro-powered widget being used to violate this policy, email [email protected] with the URL and a description. We respond within 1 business day for credible reports. For copyright complaints, see our DMCA process at [email protected].
9. Enforcement
- Minor or first-time violations: we contact you with a description of the issue and 7 days to fix it.
- Repeated or material violations: account suspension pending review.
- Severe violations (illegal content, attacks on infrastructure, fraud, large-scale spam, security violations): immediate termination without notice and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
Refunds are not available for accounts terminated for AUP violations. See the Refund Policy.
10. Changes
We update this policy as new abuse patterns appear. Material changes are communicated to Customers by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
