Refund Policy

We want you to use Kwiro because it works for your store, not because you’re stuck with it. Below is exactly when refunds apply, when they don’t, and how to request one.

This policy is governed by our Terms of Service and applies to all paid subscriptions billed through our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Limited.

1. Refund window

  • 14-day no-questions-asked refund on your first paid subscription. If you cancel within 14 days of your first charge on Pro, Growth, or Scale, email [email protected]and we’ll refund the full amount to your original payment method.
  • Annual plan pro-rata refund: if you cancel an annual plan after 14 days, you receive a pro-rata refund for unused full months minus a 20% administrative deduction. Example: paid $399 for a year, used 5 months → 7 unused months × ($399 / 12) × 0.8 = $186 refund.
  • Monthly plan after 14 days: no refund. Cancel any time and you keep the plan until the end of the billing period.

2. When refunds DO apply

  • You’re within the 14-day first-subscription window.
  • You bought an annual plan and want to cancel — pro-rata refund per §1.
  • You were charged in error (duplicate billing, billed after cancellation).
  • We had a service-credit-eligible outage as defined in the Terms § 9.
  • We materially change the Service in a way that reduces functionality and you choose to cancel within 30 days of the change.

3. When refunds DON’T apply

  • You used Kwiro for more than 14 days on monthly billing — refunds aren’t available, but cancellation is free and you keep service until the period ends.
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • You changed your mind about a feature you knew about when subscribing (we publish features openly — see /proof for what works and what doesn’t).
  • You exceeded your plan’s overage cap and were billed for overage. Overage charges reflect AI inference costs we’ve already paid; they’re non-refundable.
  • You’re asking after the 14-day window and the annual pro-rata window.

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject “Refund request”.
  2. Include the email address on your Kwiro account and your store URL.
  3. Tell us why — we read every reason and use them to fix the product.

We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued via Paddle (our merchant of record) within 5 business days; your bank may take an additional 3–10 days to post the credit.

5. Chargebacks

Please email us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks cost both parties — and most refund situations resolve faster by email anyway. Accounts with active chargebacks are suspended pending resolution.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights you have under applicable law (e.g., the EU Consumer Rights Directive, UK Consumer Contracts Regulations). Where statutory rights conflict with this policy, the statutory rights apply.

7. Changes to this policy

We’ll publish changes to this page and notify Customers by email at least 30 days in advance for any change that materially reduces your refund rights. Refund eligibility is determined by the policy in effect at the time of the original purchase.
