Is my product data safe?#

Yes. Kwiro only reads your publicly available product information -- the same data your customers already see on your store (names, descriptions, prices, images). We never access customer personal data, payment information, or order details beyond what is needed for sales attribution. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored securely.

Is Kwiro GDPR compliant?#

Yes. Kwiro does not collect or store any personal information from your store visitors. Chat conversations are associated with anonymous session IDs, not named individuals. No cookies are used for tracking across sites. If a visitor asks to have their conversation deleted, you can remove it from your dashboard. We provide a data processing agreement upon request for store owners in the EU.

Will Kwiro slow down my website?#

No. The chat widget loads in a separate frame and does not block your page from loading. Your store's pages load exactly as fast as they did before installing Kwiro. The widget itself is extremely lightweight -- under 30 kilobytes -- and loads from our fast global servers, not from your hosting. All AI processing happens on our servers, so your store's server is never under extra load.

Which WordPress themes work with Kwiro?#

Kwiro works with virtually every WordPress theme. We have tested it with the most popular WooCommerce themes including Storefront, Astra, GeneratePress, OceanWP, Flavor, Kadence, Flatsome, and many others. Because the chat widget loads in its own isolated frame, theme styles cannot conflict with it. If you find a theme where the widget does not appear, contact us and we will fix it.

Does Kwiro work with variable and grouped products?#

Yes. Kwiro understands all WooCommerce product types -- simple products, variable products (with size, color, and other variations), grouped products, and external/affiliate products. When a customer asks about a product with variations, the AI mentions available options like sizes and colors.

Does Kwiro support multiple languages?#

Yes. Kwiro automatically detects what language your customer is typing in and responds in the same language. It supports over 55 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, and many more. You do not need to configure anything -- it just works. Your product data should be in the language your customers expect, and the AI handles the rest.

What version of WooCommerce do I need?#

Kwiro requires WooCommerce 7.0 or higher and WordPress 5.8 or higher. It is tested and compatible with the latest versions of both. If you are running an older version, we recommend updating WooCommerce first (always back up your site before major updates).

Can I see what the AI says to my customers?#

Absolutely. Every conversation is recorded and available in your dashboard under Conversations. You can read the full transcript of any chat, see which products were recommended, and check whether the conversation led to a sale. This transparency is important to us -- you should always know exactly how the AI represents your store.

What happens if I deactivate the plugin?#

The chat widget immediately disappears from your store. Your data (conversation history, analytics, AI learning) is preserved on our servers for 90 days in case you reactivate. After 90 days of inactivity, data is permanently deleted. Reactivating within 90 days restores everything, including the AI's learned knowledge about your store.
