Controlling Where the Widget Shows

Choose which pages display the Kwiro chat widget, adjust mobile behavior, and control visibility settings.

Show the Widget Where It Matters Most#

By default, Kwiro shows the chat widget on every page of your store. But sometimes you want more control -- maybe you only want it on product pages, or you need to hide it on your checkout page. Here is how to manage that.

UI mockup: Per-page-type toggles. The default — on for shop, product, and home; off for cart, checkout, and account — works for most stores. Override anything per page if you need to.

Where to Find Display Settings#

  1. Go to AI Sales Assistant in your WordPress sidebar
  2. Click the Widget tab
  3. Scroll down to the Display Rules section

Show on All Pages#

The default setting is Show on all pages. This means the chat bubble appears on your home page, shop page, product pages, category pages, cart, and every other page on your store.

This is the recommended setting for most stores because customers might have questions at any point during their shopping experience.

Hide on Specific Pages#

If you need to hide the widget on certain pages, switch to Show on all pages except and enter the pages where you want it hidden. Common pages to exclude:

  • Checkout page -- some store owners prefer a distraction-free checkout
  • Thank you / order confirmation page -- the sale is already complete
  • Account pages -- where customers manage orders, not browse products
  • Blog posts -- if your blog content is not product-related

Type the page name or URL slug into the exclusion list and click Add. You can remove pages from the list at any time.

Show Only on Specific Pages#

If you prefer the opposite approach, choose Show only on selected pages. Then add just the pages where you want the widget:

  • Product pages -- where customers are actively looking at items
  • Shop / category pages -- where customers are browsing
  • Home page -- for new visitors exploring your store

Mobile Behavior#

Under Mobile Settings, you can control how the widget behaves on phones and tablets:

  • Show on mobile (default) -- the widget appears on all screen sizes. On mobile, the chat window expands to fill most of the screen for easy typing.
  • Hide on mobile -- the widget only appears on desktop and tablet. Use this if your mobile layout is very tight or your customers mainly shop on desktop.
  • Minimized on mobile -- the widget shows as a small icon on mobile and only opens when tapped. This is a good middle ground.

Save and Preview#

After changing display rules, click Save Settings. Then visit the pages you modified in a new tab to confirm the widget shows or hides as expected. Use your phone or your browser's mobile preview to check the mobile behavior.
